Side is about 65 km from Antalya Airport and the drive runs entirely east on the D400. Because it never enters central Antalya, most of the journey is on open road and takes around an hour in normal conditions. In summer the hotel entrances around Belek and Kadriye can slow things down.
Old Side sits on a peninsula and most of its inner streets are closed to traffic. If you are staying inside the ancient town or right beside it, the car can bring you as far as the entry point and a short walk remains. Knowing this in advance matters: for a guest with heavy luggage or difficulty walking, the hotel's exact position is something to factor into the transfer. When we take the hotel name at booking we tell you the nearest drop-off point beforehand.
The name Side is also used for a wide hotel area around it: Çolaklı, Kumköy, Titreyengöl, Sorgun and Manavgat mostly carry Side in their addresses although they lie kilometres apart. Manavgat is a separate district centre about 8 km from the ancient town. So "Side" alone is not enough to plan a transfer; we need the hotel name or the neighbourhood. The difference can add 15–20 minutes to the drive.
